S-Pazz presents Birth Of Light EP

S-Pazz’s second chapter, Birth of Light, builds upon the global, cinematic vision that defined Tales of Dancing Waters. Here, Nathan and Grégoire deepen their dialogue between genres and geographies. From the orchestral-electronic fusion of “Ce Matin-Là” — featuring Nathan’s father on double bass — to Tour-Maubourg’s bossa remix, the EP celebrates interconnected cultures through rhythm and tone.

“Together” bridges Paris and London with a broken beat groove inspired by Da Lata and 4hero, while “My Heart” glows with the warmth of jazz-funk and the pulse of club music. “Bees Die After Stinging” is perhaps their most ambitious moment yet — an Afro-jazz odyssey built on field recordings and 6/8 movement, evoking both nature and modern studio craft. Finally, “Ocean Reflections” drifts into ambient introspection, closing the journey in a meditative haze. Birth of Light reaffirms S-Pazz’s unique ability to blend tradition, innovation, and emotion into a borderless sound language.
