A compact 5-track EP full of dirty beat-structures, distortion, lo-fi aesthetics and experimental rap to escape everyday life.

Have you ever seriously wondered what the shattered dreams of a caravanist sound like? If not, don't rack your brains any further. The answer is provided by 24-year-old music producer, media-artist and filmmaker Noayama - who is currently based in Vienna - with his compact 5-track EP “Caravanist's Shattered Dreams”.

Rap artists Deem Spencer (Queens, New York) and NAPPYNAPPA (Washington, D.C.) accentuate “that certain feeling” that pervades the entire EP in very different ways with their features. On “Don't Had To Know” and “BBQ RAVE”, they oscillate between lo-fi aesthetics, introspective lyrics, experimental rap and distorted fragments of speech.

Wanted to pass over the new Noayama on Affine Records, since it sits in that scuffed zone between beat music, distortion and leftfield.
